BOURNEMOUTH BRIDGE WEEKEND

The annual UK Gay and Lesbian Bridge weekend, scheduled for March 30 - April 1, 2007, is now open for booking. The event will be held at the same location in Bournemouth where such good hospitality, good food, and friendly staff accommodated this event in past years.

Again, hosted by Alan Lamb, this weekend will suit all standards of gay and lesbian players. This annual event is an extremely social gathering to which all Bridge players, and non-playing partners, are very welcome. From Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon both duplicate and rubber Bridge are available at almost all hours. Included in the programme are the principal two-session competitions with trophies and prizes awarded for duplicate and rubber pairs. "Single players" are guaranteed play, being paired at the event.

The Bridge group will have exclusive use of the recently refurbished Woodcroft Tower Hotel (rooms are ensuite) which has provided excellent service in previous years. With space being limited to about 100, and the package price starting at 120 pounds, including meals, representing very good value, early booking is definitely recommended.

48hr Package price is for ensuite room, Friday & Saturday Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, also Sunday Lunch, at just £120 p.p. (based on two people sharing), £160 for single occupancy.

A supplement will be payable for "overflow" B&B after the base hotel fills.
